Summer opening of the Orelle gondolas

This summer, the Orelle and Orelle–Caron gondola lifts are open daily.

In just a few minutes, you can reach an altitude of 3,200 metres effortlessly, thanks to one of the few lift systems in the Alps that provides such easy access to such a high summit. A unique mountain experience for families, hikers, photographers and anyone who loves breathtaking alpine scenery.

Two destinations, two different experiences:

2,300 m – Plan Bouchet
The perfect place to enjoy nature with family or friends.
An ideal starting point for discovering the mountains in summer:

Family-friendly walks and more challenging hiking trails
Marked mountain bike routes with spectacular Alpine views
The chance to spot marmots along the way
Fishing in the Bonrieu stream
A pétanque court
You'll also find a mountain restaurant with a sunny south-facing terrace.

A local curiosity: La Pierre au Pied, an ancient engraved rock bearing witness to the valley's rich history.

3,200 m – Cime Caron, an iconic summit
Continue your journey aboard the Orelle–Caron gondola and reach the spectacular Cime Caron, at 3,200 metres.
From this legendary Alpine summit, enjoy exceptional panoramic views over the highest peaks of the Alps, stretching all the way to the Italian mountains.

The Caron 3200 area is also open, featuring:
a boutique,
a rooftop restaurant and terrace,
an exhibition area with several interactive games.

On a clear day, the panorama is considered one of the most spectacular in the Alps.

Throughout the summer season, a programme of events and activities brings Orelle to life, enriching your mountain experience and adding even more reasons to visit.

MTB and gravel bikes are allowed in the Orelle gondola only (not permitted in the Orelle–Caron gondola).
Road bikes are allowed in both gondolas as well as the Cime Caron cable car.

Animals are allowed in telecabins during summer

Due to the rapid ascent/descent and high altitude, access to the gondolas is discouraged for children under 3 years old.

Free outdoor parking in summer; covered parking is subject to a fee.
